Upper-end fashion company Gucci recently offered an introspective look at their Spring 2009 Footwear Collection. The brand offers a wide range of silhouettes for any activity or any outfit, but two things remain constant throughout–luxurious quality and exorbitant pricing. It’s true–if you’re not not opulent, “Fuggit about it, punk!” The brand’s headliner is the Native High Top, a high-rising affair that features premium leathers, beads, and moccasin-esque reinforcements. The shoe is toned up in a basic white/white scheme and features a prominent logo on the tongue. Look forward to the Gucci Native High Top later this Spring.

So much hype has been conjured up about the Nike Air Yeezy, but this time around, Kanye has collaborated with Louis Vuitton to create some nice looking boat shoes. Shown here are one of six designs that he created with them, which feature a clean white design constructed from premium leathers and a puffed heel for that extra something.

They sport an all black color scheme along with a white midsole. Other features include a tan inner lining and double ankle strap. Many of us were on the lookout for the Mr. Cartoon x LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Force 1 that dropped last week. Unfortunately for many, the limited numbers made it nearly impossible to cop.
Some lucky folks in the Los Angeles area were able to attend the Mr. Cartoon x LIVESTRONG Nike Air Force 1 release party that went down last week at The Last Laugh. A raffle was held for the exclusive kicks, Mr. Cartoon autographed event shirts, DJ Skee was spinning, and Gram and Papas provided the food.

New Balance drops some seriously high quality kicks, specifically, through the Made In England line. The latest, to come from the Made In England line, is this collection of the 860 runner, which continues with top notch quality.

The Air Jordan 3 (III) Retro+ - White / Dark Mocha were released in 2001 and retailed for $100. Although not as popular as the black / cement grey or the true blue colorways, these still sold very well. They feature a white leather upper with brown elephant skin, which is hard to see unless you are up close, as the brown colorway is very dark.? They also feature perforations around the ankle area and tongue of the shoe, allowing the foot to breathe.

The Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro 1999 - Black / Cement Grey is a classic in the Air Jordan 4 (IV). It features an all black upper with plastic grated mesh on the sides as well as on the bottom of the tongue near the toe area. It also features a sole which consists of grey, white and red. It has a visible air sole unit at the heel, and although overall it holds a simple design, it is highly sought after by true Air Jordan fanatics.

The Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro LS - Deep Burgundy / Light Graphite - Silver were released in December 2006, and retailed for $145. They were a Lifestyle release, making them much more difficult to come by, and were highly sought after by Jordan fanatics, as they still are today. They feature a burgundy upper with grey 3M reflective tongue, as well as grey contrast stitching.? They also feature grey shark teeth speckled with burgundy. The Air Jordan 5 (V) is rumored to have been inspired by the World War II Mustang fighter plane, with the shark teeth being the most obvious feature.

The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro - Pearl White / Bright Ceramic - Pacific Blue were released on April 15, 2006 and retailed for $135. They are probably one of the more light- colored Air Jordan 7 (VII)’s. They feature a white upper, with yellow accents, as well as two different shades of blue.? The leather used on? the upper is stressed, as it is not quite smooth. These were more of a Summer shoe, hence the light colors, and release date.? A really nice feature about these are the outsole, which from a profile view seem to be part clear, but upon further inspection, it is revealed that the blue colorway is just very light.

The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro Low - White / Chrome - Metallic Silver was released on June 21, 2003, and retailed for $110.? The are definitely more of a summer shoe, with the all white leather upper, and the low cut design. They do not feature the detailed, multi-colored lining which is typical of the Air Jordan 8 (VIII), which makes them much more bland. ? They do however still feature the anti- inversion cross straps, and the streaks at the heel (which are very lightly colored).

The Air Jordan 9 (IX) Retro Low - White / Blue Pearl was released on September 21, 2002 and retailed for $115.? They are probably one of the nicest of the Air Jordan 9 (IX), as they feature a beautiful pearl blue patent leather on the base of the upper, as well as on the midsole.? The white leather upper features detailed stitching designs, which tend to flow either from front to back, or back to front, depending on how you look at it.? The outsole is also very nice, as it features a large 1994 logo, as well as characters and inspirational words in other languages. The shoe consists of technological features such as a dynamic - fit inner bootie, a ?one pull? lacing system, large volume air- sole unite in the heel, an encapsulated air- sole unit in the forefoot, and a polyurethane midsole.
