LAB Taipei x New Balance US574 – Mint N Pepa

Considering that LAB Taipei is owned and operated by the crew at streetwear brand DeMarcoLab, it’s no wonder that the retailer’s custom New Balance 574 - dubbed the “Mint n Pepa” - represent a design tour de force. The kicks feature varying shades of grey across the suede panels, accented with a mint green shade at the mesh inlay and tongue, as well as a hit of pink at the woven tongue tag. Embroidered “DMC” and “LAB” in blue at the heel of the left and right shoe complete the look. Just two sizes — U.S. 9.5 and 10.5 — are scheduled to go on sale at Lab Taipei tomorrow, November 2nd, but enterprising shoppers should be able to replicate the exact design at New Balance’s webstore.
